He’ll find out from his command. The USMC birthday balls usually aren’t until November-ish, since the actual birthday is November 10. The only time it’s any other time is if they were deployed during that time, and his command wants to have a “make up ball” when they get back.. but it usually doesn’t happen often, because of funding.

Aside from our bi-weekly picture contest we have 2 other contests coming up.
1. For our 2000th follower (on tumblr, which should be fairly soon) we are doing a giveaway contest. The contest will last 1 week and there will be multiple ways to enter, resulting in a possible total of 18 entries per person. The prize will be a decal from Always Sticky Decals. More info to come later.
2. I want you guys to create the cover photo for our new Facebook page then we’ll vote on them. I have not decided when this one will be held but you can start creating them now and submitting them here or posting them on the wall of the Facebook page. There’s one rule: must incorporate all 5 branches on the cover photo.

The ball in November? There’s a separate ball for each separate unit.. so unless he’s in the battalion /unit that my husband is, I doubt it D: What unit is he gonna be with though? That’s awesome :)
